Vernon Parish Public Transit is operated by the local Council on Aging and serves all of Vernon Parish. The parish transit system was designed to provide accessible and affordable transit services for all ages. Vernon Parish is the third largest parish in the state and is very rural in nature. The transit system is vital to the well being of parish residents.
