CATS is a Regional Transit Authority, Political Subdivision of the State of Louisiana providing public transit service in East Baton Rouge Parish. CATS maintains a fleet of 63 ADA accessible buses for fixed-route service, including electric and clean diesel vehicles. CATS provides paratransit service through its CATS On Demand service to persons unable to use the fixed-route system. Riders interested in CATS on Demand must submit an application for the service and if qualified request service 24 hours in advance.
