Profile of System
Pointe Coupee Council on Aging (PCCOA) started providing transportation to the elderly in 1975 with two cars. Ridership increased significantly with the implementation of this program. Transportation is provided for the general public, elderly and disabled, non-emergency medical, and employment and training.

Pointe Coupee Parish Transit ridership is growing daily, providing non-emergency medical transportation to all residents of the parish. This is a demand-responsive service which is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations for service may be made upon space available. PCPT is equipped to accommodate disabled passengers. We also transport out of parish thought-out Louisiana for medical appointments.
