Claiborne Parish Police Jury Office of Community Services is a public agency that was formed as a private, non-profit corporation in July, 1965, to aid the poor and disabled of Claiborne Parish. In June 1986, it was made a part of the Claiborne Parish Police Jury. This agency operates the only public transportation system in Claiborne Parish available to all residents of the parish, regardless of age or income.

Transportation is provided to medical appointments, work, shopping, and other transportation needs. Claiborne Parish is a very rural parish. Many of the residents living in isolated areas depend on public transportation for medical services and to help them maintain their level of independence. Claiborne Community Services meets the transportation needs of Claiborne Parish residents by providing safe, courteous, clean, reliable, and cost-efficient transportation.
