St. Landry Public Transit has been providing transportation services to residents of St. Landry Parish since 1976. Our agency offers reliable Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services throughout St. Landry Parish and to many neighboring parishes, operating Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

Eligible clients may receive transportation services at no cost through their Medicaid transportation provider. For individuals who do not qualify for Medicaid-covered transportation, services are available for a cash fare, with rates determined by the trip destination and travel distance.

St. Landry Public Transit remains committed to ensuring safe, accessible, and dependable transportation for residents seeking access to medical care and other essential services.
