How do I file a claim for damage done to my vehicle on a state route?
For vehicle or property damage by DOTD or something in the road, based on the location call the number below.
NOTE: once your claim is processed it is sent to the state's Office of Risk Management and their 3rd party adjuster, since DOTD does not make determinations on claims made against us. DOTD will abide by the ruling made by the adjuster.
If the damage takes place in a construction zone, you will be provided with the number for the contractor and you can make a claim with their risk managment adjuster. DOTD will not be invovled in this process.
