Closure Details:
LA 41 will have a partial road closure affecting both left and right lanes with a scheduled start of September 08, 2020 at 7:00 AM and a scheduled end of September 21, 2020 at 7:00 AM (weather permitting). The closure will have intermittent travel through the area. This closure will occur daily between 7:00AM and 7:00PM. The location starts at LA 435 and ends at Dump Rd.

Comments:
The contractor plans to continue placing embankment on the shoulders, install mail boxes, rumble strips and permanent striping, weather permitting. One lane will be open at all times.

Detour:
Motorists traveling northbound may use alternate routes such as LA 41 at Dump Road, south to LA 36, west on LA 36 to the roundabout in Abita Springs, north on LA 435 to LA 41. Motorists traveling southbound may use alternate routes such as LA 41 to LA 435, south on LA 435 to LA 36 to the roundabout in Abita Springs, east on LA 36 to LA 41, north on LA 41 to Dump Road.

Restrictions:
Oversize loads greater than 10 feet wide are not permitted through this area at this time. Emergency vehicles will have access.
