Closure Details:
LA 40 will have a partial road closure with a scheduled start of September 21, 2020 and a scheduled end of October 4, 2020 (weather permitting). These closures will occur 24/7 through Sunday, October 4, 2020. The location starts at Park Ln and ends at Campground Rd.

Comments:
This is a long-term, temporary traffic configuration and traffic will be maintained by a temporary traffic signal. These closures are for crews to remove part of existing bridge and construct a portion of new bridge.

Detour:
One lane will remain open in one direction at all times.

Restrictions:
Wide loads are still not permitted through this area at this time. There will be no other vehicle restrictions, and emergency vehicles will have access.
