The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 7:00 AM, construction work will continue on the bridge locations listed below. The work will consist of bridge substructure painting and repair. The Project is expected to be completed in January 2017. Updates to the Permit/Detour Section are listed below.
Permit/Detour Section
Route: La 107, between Expressway Drive and Pine Street in Rapides Parish underneath US 167 (Structure No. 08400230103461) and (Structure No. 08400230103462)
Dates: The lane closure and detour will start at 7:00 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 and will be reopened Friday, April 15, 2016.
Restrictions: The Roadway Will Be Reduced to One Lane Westbound on La 107 with a width restriction of 9 feet. The Eastbound traffic will be detoured south to the Wadley Street underpass of US 167.
