The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 121 in Vernon Parish, described in the next sentence, is now open. Re-opening is located between Ebenezer Cemetery Road and Parish Road 827 (Allen Gordy Road).

***EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE UPDATE***
LA 121; Vernon Parish; Control Section 029-04

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 121 in Vernon Parish will continue to be closed due to constructability issues on the project. The closure more specifically is located between Ebenezer Cemetery Road and Parish Road 827 (Allen Gordy Road). This closure is anticipated to be in effect until Monday afternoon on March 21, 2016

***EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE***
LA 121; Vernon Parish; Project No. H000995; Control Section 029-04

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 121 in Vernon Parish has been IMMEDIATELY CLOSED DUE TO SOIL CONDITIONS WHICH ARE RESTRICTING TRAFFIC FLOW THROUGH THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. The closure more specifically is located between Ebenezer Cemetery Road and Parish Road 827 (Allen Gordy Road). This closure is anticipated to be in effect until Monday afternoon on March 7, 2016.

Permit/Detour Section
The detour route will be as follows:

At the intersection of LA 121 and Ebenezer Cemetery Road, LA 121 traffic will be directed north on LA 121 to LA 28; then east on LA 28 to LA 465; then south on LA 465 to LA 489; then south on LA 489 back to LA 121.

At the intersection of LA 121 and Parish Road 827 (Allen Gordy Road) traffic will be directed south to LA 489; then north on LA 489 to LA 465; then north on LA 465; then west on LA 28 back to LA 121.
