Eastbound LA 70 at the Mississippi River Bridge (Sunshine Bridge) in St. James Parish
**UPDATE** LA70 EASTBOUND TO LA44 RAMP WILL BE CLOSED FROM 9:00 AM - 12:00 NOON, MARCH 9, 2016.
The outside lane will be closed from Wednesday, March 9th, to Friday, March 11th, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day while crews perform a routine inspection on the bridge.
This closure will allow vehicles 11-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles must detour using LA 3127 East to LA 3213 North to LA 3125 East.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
