The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that US 167 North (Overton St) is open. The reason for this closure was to perform utility work 1.8 miles north of US 71.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that US 167 North (Overton St) will be closed to thru traffic on February 22, 2016 from 7:30A.M. until 5:00P.M. on February 24, 2016. The reason for this closure is to perform utility work 1.8 miles north of US 71.
Permit/Detour section
Local traffic detour will be from Lee St. (US 167 Business) to Branch St. to Overton St. (US 167 Business North). Thru traffic detour will be from Lee St. (US 167 Business) to Fenner St. to Overton St. (US 167 Business North).
