SPN H.002394: LA 22 (W End of Tchefuncte River Bridge – Marina Beau Chene)

There will be alternating lane closures on LA 22 between the West End of Tchefuncte River Bridge (Milepost 67.48) and Marina Blvd. (Milepost 69.35) on Wednesday, February 10 through Sunday, February 14, 2016 nightly between the hours of 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM daily (weather permitting) while crews cold plane, lay asphalt binder and other related construction activities for the roadway widening.
NOTE: Due to Mardi Gras weekend and predicted weather, there will be no work on the nights of Friday, February 5 through Tuesday, February 9, 2016.
Permit/Detour Section
To avoid delays, eastbound motorists may take LA 21 North to I-12, East on I-12 to US 190 (Exit 63B), East on US 190 to LA 22.
Westbound motorists may take US 190 West to I-12, West on I-12 to LA 21 (Exit 59), South on LA 21 to LA 22.
One lane of traffic will be open at all times. Emergency vehicles will have access.
