LA 27 ROAD CLOSURE (KCS RAILROAD CROSSING) - BEAUREGARD PARISH
Kansas City Southern Railroad will close the crossing between Catfish Farm Road and George Kendal Road. The crossing is 9 miles north of DeQuincy and 5.5 miles south of Singer. The crossing will be closed for two days starting 7:00 AM Saturday January 30, 2016 and reopening by 5:00 PM Sunday January 31, 2016.
• Northbound traffic will be detoured around the closure using LA 12 West to LA 389 North, to LA 109 North.
• Southbound traffic will be detoured around the closure using LA 109 South to LA 389 South to LA 12 East.
The closure is necessary for Kansas City Southern to perform track maintenance at the crossing.
