CLOSURE NOTICE

The Houma Tunnel crossing the Intracoastal Canal Waterway (ICWW) on LA 3040 in Houma, LA will be closed to vehicular traffic nightly from 9:00 P.M. until 5:00 A.M starting Monday night February 1, 2016 thru Thursday morning February 4, 2016 in order to allow LADOTD’s contractor to perform work on the tunnel lighting system along with other related electrical work within the tunnel.
Alternate routes available for crossing the ICWW are:
LA 24/LA 659 (Twin Span Bridge) and LA 315 (Dularge Bridge).
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
