Weekend Ramp/Lane Closure

There will be a complete ramp closure of the I-59 Northbound Exit Ramp (Exit 267B) to I-12 Westbound beginning Friday, January 29, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. until Monday, February 1, 2016 at 12:00 noon (weather permitting) while crews reconstruct a portion of the off-ramp.
There will be closures of the inside (left) and outside (right) lanes of I-10/I-12/I-59 on Friday, January 29, 2016 through Monday, February 1, 2016 (weather permitting) while crews remove and replace the roadway at the following locations:
• I-59 Northbound outside (right) lane between I-10/I-59 split (Mile Post 0) and just south of the I-59 Rest Area (Mile Post 1) from 10:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2016 to 12:00 Noon Monday, February 1, 2016. All lanes will re-open Monday, February 1, 2016 at 12:00 noon.
• I-10 Eastbound between the French Branch Bridge (Mile Post 267.14) (just north of Gause Blvd.) and the West Pearl River Bridge (Mile Post 269.81) (near the I-10 Welcome Center) from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday through Sunday. All lanes will be open between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. daily.
• I-10 Westbound between the West Pearl River Bridge (Mile Post 269.81) (near the I-10 Welcome Center) and the French Branch Bridge (Mile Post 267.14) (just north of Gause Blvd.) from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday through Sunday. All lanes will be open between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily.

Permit/ Detour Section

Motorists traveling I-59 Northbound to I-12 Westbound will need to exit to LA 1090 (Exit 3), West on LA 1090 to I-59 South, south on I-59 to I-12 Westbound (Exit 1A).

One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. No oversized loads greater than 12’ wide will be allowed through the construction zone during lane closures.
