Westbound 4th Street Bridge on LA 18 will be closed to traffic on the bridge (westbound direction only) from Monday, January 25, 2016 to Wednesday, January 27, 2016, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily. The bridge will be open to one lane of traffic, with a flagging operation. This closure is for work related to upgrades and repairs to the operator’s house.
Vehicles can detour the area via the following routes:
•LA 18 Westbound: LA 3017 (Peters Road) onto US 90 Bus., through the Harvey Tunnel, and onto LA 45 (Barataria Blvd.)
•LA 18 Eastbound: LA 3018 (Destrahan Ave) onto US 90 Bus., through the Harvey Tunnel, and onto Manhattan Boulevard.
