UPDATE: LA 838 is open to thru traffic as of 12:30pm on February 4, 2016.
Beginning Today, January 20, 2016, LA 838 in Ouachita Parish will be closed 0.7 miles west of the intersection of LA 838 and Wells Road. This road closure is required to conduct bridge maintenance.
PERMIT/DETOUR
All vehicles must detour using LA 546, I-20, and LA 617. This detour route has a 20-35 ton wieght restriction.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
