UPDATE: Assumption Parish - U.S. 90 - ramp and lane closure NOW OPEN

UPDATE: THE PROJECT TO REPLACE THE GIRDER HAS BEEN COMPLETED. US90 EB EXIT RAMP 182 IS OPEN TO TRAFFIC. THE WESTBOUND AND EASTBOUND LANES ON US90 ARE ALSO OPEN TO TRAFFIC.

AMELIA, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced today that on Monday, January 4th, the U.S. 90 eastbound Exit Ramp (Exit #182 to Bayou Boeuf/La. 662) will be closed to allow for girder replacement work.

The detour for this ramp closure consists of Duhon Boulevard and La. 182.

Additionally, beginning Tuesday, January 5, U.S. 90 will be closed in the westbound direction near Exit 182 (Bayou Boeuf/La. 662) for girder replacement work.

When necessary, the closure will take place from 10 p.m. to 05:00 AM.

The detour for this closure consists of LA 662, LA 182, and Duhon Blvd.

Motorists can also anticipate intermittent lane closures in the east and westbound directions along U.S. 90 near Exit 182 (Bayou Boeuf/La. 662) between 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.

All closures are estimated to take place over the next four months, weather permitting.
