LA 20 ThruTraffic Lane Shifts - Lafourche Parish

Contractors working for DOTD will begin construction of the LA 20 (North Canal Blvd.) Widening project on January 4, 2016. This $9.9 million dollar project will widen LA 20 to 4 lanes from LA 308 to St. Patrick Street. The project also includes drainage work, complete asphalt overlay, and installation of new traffic signals, and is scheduled to be completed in mid-September, 2016.
Motorists can expect travel lane shifts for the duration of the project. Through and local traffic will be maintained in both directions.
