US Hwy 61 at the Intersection of LA 73, Ascension Parish, Lane Closure

**UPDATE THE WORK WILL BE DONE DECEMBER 21 & 22, 2015**
US Highway 61 inside travel lane will be closed in the northbound and southbound directions at the intersection of LA Highway 73 on Wednesday, December 21, 2015 through Thursday, December 22, 2015. The lane closure both days will be allowed from 8:30 AM until 3:00 PM (weather permitting). At least one lane will remain open at all times. This closure will allow crews to perform work to widen the existing crossover to accomodate the new northbound double left traffic movement from LA Highway 73.
No oversized loads greater than 16' wide will be allowed through the construction zone during lane closures.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
