LA 42 .4 mile east of LA 43 will be closed from 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, until 4:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2015 (weather permitting). The road will be closed while crews replace a cross drain on LA 42.

Motorists make take the following detour routes:

Going west on LA 42 from Springfield:
-LA 22 to LA 1249 to I-12 going west to LA 43

Going east on LA 42 from Springfield:
-LA 43 north to I-12 going east bound to LA 1249 to LA 22
