DOTD announces that work will begin on the U.S. 171 North Bound Lane Concrete Rehabilitation Project on Monday, November 30, 2015 and will continue for approximately three months, weather permitting. This concrete rehabilitation project begins at the northern city limits of Hornbeck in the U.S. 171 northbound lane and ends at its intersection with Whitfield Road. This 5.76- mile project will receive concrete pavement patching and related work.
The project was awarded to the low bidder, Progressive Construction Co. LLC in the amount of $716,726.85.
Permit/Detour section
There will be no restrictions for passenger vehicles and a 12’ wide lane width restriction for all oversize vehicles. The roadway will be reduced to one lane during construction. The roadway will be open to traffic at all times.
