LA 16 SOUTHBOUND AT THE RAILROAD CROSSING, LIVINGSTON PARISH

LA 16 southbound at the railroad crossing will be closed from 5:00 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2015 through 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 (weather permitting.) The road will be closed completely and no traffic will be able to cross while the crews with the railroad, CN, perform a full replacement of the railroad crossing pads.
Motorists may take LA 3282 to LA 1031 to US 190 as an alternate route to avoid the closure.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution around the work site and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
