US 190, TANGIPAHOA PARISH

US 190 approximately 3/4 of a mile west of I-55 will be reduced to a single lane on Thursday, November 19th and Friday, November 20th, from 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, daily, weather permitting. One lane will remain open at all times using a flagging operation. This lane closure will allow crews to replace the railroad crossing.
Detour routes are as follows:
Eastbound motorist can avoid this construction zone by traveling LA 43 South to I-12 East to I-55 North to US 190.
Westbound motorist can avoid this construction zone by traveling I-55 South to I-12 West to LA 43 North to US 190.
