The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm, LA 1226 will be closed at the intersection of US 71 in the east section of Natchitoches Parish. The intent of this closure is to replace failing triple barrel 48 inch metal pipes. This closure is expected to last approximately 2 months.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement. The detour route is as stated:
Eastbound traffic on LA 1226 will detour North on US 71, then East on US 84, to LA 1226.
Westbound traffic on LA 1226 will detour West on US 84, then South on US 71, to LA 1226.
