LA 22 Railroad Crossing, Tangipahoa Parish

There will be alternating lane closures on LA 22 at the railroad crossing (near US 51 Business and NW Railroad Ave in Ponchatoula) on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, beginning at 6:00 a.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m. This closure will allow crews to make necessary railroad improvements.
One lane will be open at all times.
PERMIT/DETOUR INFORMTION:
Eastbound motorist on LA 22 may take US 51 Business north to I-12 east to LA 445 south to LA 22.
Westbound motorist on LA 22 may take LA 445 north to I-12 west to US 51 Business south to LA 22.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work site and be on the lookout for work crews and equipment.
