LA 1, West Baton Rouge Parish

Southbound LA 1 @ Intracoastal Canal in West Baton Rouge Parish. The outside lane will be closed from Thursday, January 31st, at 8:00 p.m. to Friday, February 1st, at 2:00 a.m. while crews make repairs to a bridge expansion joint.

This closure will allow vehicles 11-feet wide or smaller to pass through the construction zone. Road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles must detour using I-10 East to LA 22 West to LA 70 South to LA 3089 West to LA 1 North.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
