**Update**LA 417, Pointe Coupee Parish, Emergency Closure

LA 417, in Pointe Coupee Parish, will be closed on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. This closure is necessary for the repairing of a cross drain. The location of the closure is 2.4 miles west of LA 418.
The detour routes for this closure are as follows:
Westbound traffic will have to take LA 417, to LA 418, to LA 1, to LA 970, to LA 418 then back to LA 417 up to the site of the closure.
Eastbound traffic will have to take LA 417 to LA 970, to LA 1, then back to LA 417.
