US 61(River Road), East Baton Rouge

This closure will be extended until 5am Saturday, October 31, 2015 due to unforeseen circumstances.
US 61(River Road) in East Baton Rouge Parish will be closed at the railroad track, from 5:00am Thursday, October 29, 2015 to 5:00pm Friday, October 30, 2015. This closure is to allow the railroad to make track upgrades.
US 61(River Road) Northbound traffic should detour at US 190(Florida Blvd) Eastbound to I-110 Northbound back to US 61. US 61(River Road) Southbound traffic should detour to I-110 Southbound to US 61 (River Road) Westbound to US 190(Florida Blvd) back to US 61.
