Weekend Ramp/Lane Closure

There will be a complete ramp closure of the I-59 Southbound Exit Ramp (Exit 1B) to I-10 Eastbound beginning Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:00 p.m. until Monday, October 26, 2015 at 5:00 a.m. (weather permitting) while crews reconstruct a portion of the off-ramp.
There will also be closures of the inside (left) and outside (right) lanes of I-10/I-12/I-59 on Friday, October 23, 2015 through Monday, October 26, 2015 (weather permitting) while crews remove and replace the roadway at the following locations:
• I-59 Southbound outside (right) lane between the I-10/I-59 split (Mile Post 0) and just south of the I-59 Rest Area (Mile Post 1) from 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2015. All lanes will re-open Monday, October 26, 2015 at 5:00 a.m.
• I-59 Northbound outside (right) lane between the I-10/I-59 split (Mile Post 0) and just south of the I-59 Rest Area (Mile Post 1) from 10:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 to 12:00 noon Monday, October 26, 2015. All lanes will re-open Monday, October 26, 2015 at 12:00 noon.

Additionally, there will be a continuation of the alternating closures of the inside (left) and outside (right) lanes of I-12 Eastbound between the I-59 underpass (Mile Post 85.54) and I-10 merge (Mile Post 86.28) through Friday, October 30, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.

Permit/ Detour Section
Motorists traveling I-59 Southbound to I-10 Eastbound will need to exit to US 190-B/ Fremaux Ave (Exit 265), East on US 190-B to I-10 East.

One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. No oversized loads greater than 12’ wide will be allowed through the construction zone during lane closures.
