Cross Drain Replacement Mile Post 2.7

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at 7:00 am, LA 471 will be closed 2.7 miles North of US 71. The intent of this closure is to remove a double barrel 36 inch metal pipe and replace with a 72 inch metal pipe. This road will reopen on Thursday, October 29, 2015.
Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement. The detour route is as stated:
Northbound traffic on LA 471 will detour North on US 71, then North LA 1240, then East on LA 122, to LA 471.
Southbound traffic on LA 471 will detour West on LA 122, then South on LA 1240, then South on US 71, to LA 471.
