SUBJECT: HALF MARATHON IN THE CITY OF RUSTON, LINCOLN PARISH, LANE AND INTERSECTION CLOSURES.
The City of Ruston announces today, January 29, 2013, the following lane closure: The right South Bound Lane of North Trenton Street (US 167) will be closed between South Chautauqua Road and West Maryland Avenue. Also the right South Bound Lane of Tech Drive (LA 544) will be closed between South Service Road and West Railroad Avenue, also the right East Bound Lane of West Alabama Avenue (LA 150) between Bulldog Drive and Tech Drive (LA 544) and Everett Street and South Monroe Street. The right West Bound Lane of West California Avenue (US 80) between Bond Street and Adams Blvd. The lanes will be closed down at 6:00 A.M. February 10, 2013 and remain closed until race is over.
There will be some short intersection closures at the following streets: North Monroe Street, South Chautauqua Road, West Kentucky Avenue, Cooktown Road, Woodward Avenue, Ashland Street, Tarbutton Road, Tech Drive and West Alabama Avenue. Also West Park Avenue will be closed between North Monroe Street and North Trenton Street beginning at 6:00 am thru 12:00 pm. The City of Ruston is responsible for all traffic control associated with this event.
