US 71 and LA 3170 (LSUA Cut-Off Road) Turnlanes; Rapides Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Monday, October 19, 2015, weather permitting, US 71 near Bill Warner Road will experience alternating temporary lane closures in both the Northbound and Southbound directions. Also LA 3170 at the intersection of US 71 will experience temporary lane closures. These temporary lane closures will last until time of completion of the project which is expected to last several months. These closures are necessary to allow for construction of turn lanes at US 71 near Bill Warner Road and intersection improvements at the intersection of LA 3170 and US 71.

At this time, there are no designated detours or width restrictions associated with this project.
