Intersection improvements Youree Drive at Kings Highway in Shreveport (Caddo Parish)

BOSSIER CITY, La. -- Motorists are advised that beginning Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, there will be intermittent lane closures on Kings Highway, Eastbound and Westbound, between Shreveport Barksdale Highway and Centenary Collage. Youree Drive will also have intermittent lane closures, Northbound and Southbound between Stratford Ave. and East Washington St.
This work will allow crews to remove structures and obstructions to prepare for utility relocations required for the intersection improvement project. This phase of construction should last approximately 30 days.
Also on Monday, Ardmore Ave. will be permanently closed to through traffic at the East Kings intersection. A cul-de-sac will be constructed on Ardmore Ave. and East Kings intersection as part of the first phase of this construction project.
