Terrebonne Parish-Petit Caillou Roller Gate on Hwy 56 in Cocodrie Closures

Intermittent closure of Hwy 56 due to Roller Gate Installation will occur starting tomorrow, Thursday, October 1, 2015.
Closure delays will last 30-40 minutes each time.
Hours of delay will be between 0800 abd 1600, Thursday only.
The location of the Roller Gate installation is on Hwy 56 approximately 3/4 mile south of where Hwy 57 (Bayou Sale Rd) intersects.
Work is part of the Morganza-to-the-Gulf Hurricane Protection Levee System currently managed by TLCD.
Work on Roller Gate will involve testing and acceptance of the Gate for permanent use afterward.
