LANE CLOSURE US Highway 61 (Airline Highway) near the Intersection of LA 73 - Ascension Parish

The South Bound outside (right) lane of US Highway 61 (Airline Highway) at the intersection of LA Highway 73 will be closed on Thursday, September 24, 2015 (weather permitting) while crews lay asphalt on the South Bound right turn lane onto LA Highway 73 up to the KCS Railroad track on LA Highway 73. The lane closure will be from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. All lanes will re-open Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. No oversized loads greater than 12’ wide will be allowed through the construction zone during lane closures.
