I-49, Natchitoches Parish, LA 6 Entrance and Exit Ramps, Sp No. H.010486

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that starting on Tuesday, September 8, 2015, construction work will begin on the I-49: LA 6 Northbound and Southbound entrance and exit ramps. The ramps will be narrowed during the construction process. The ramps will be split into two sections during construction; one side will be open to traffic while the other side is under construction. Traffic on the ramps and on LA 6 will incur minor delays and periodic closures during construction.
The scope of work for this Project includes Cold planing Asphaltic Concrete Pavement, Pavement Patching, Superpave Asphaltic Concrete Pavement, Lime Treatment, In-Place Cement Stabilized Base Course, Striping, Guardrail and Related Work. This contract amount of $6,585,490.15 was awarded to Progressive Construction Co., LLC of Alexandria, LA on 9/10/2014.
Permit/Detour section
Local traffic will be maintained at all times but there will be periodic lane closures and minor delays associated with this work.
