Construction Traffic Control Update - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises that LA 1213 at the intersection of US 171 North Bound Lanes is closed to traffic for safety of the traveling public within the construction work zone. US 171 North Bound Traffic approaching the intersection of LA 1213 is shifted to one lane in order to divert traffic around the work zone. Weather permitting, the contractor anticipates the work will be complete within 4 weeks.
Permit/Detour Section
One lane of US 171 North will continue to be open to traffic at all times. There will be no restrictions for regular traffic and a 12’ wide lane width restriction for all oversize vehicles. LA 1213 at the intersection of US 171 North will be closed to traffic. The US 171 North Bound Lanes will be reduced to one lane for the duration of the project.
