Lafayette Parish - Johnston Street - slow moving operation

Beginning Tuesday, September 8, until Friday, September 11, a slow moving operation will take palce on Johnston Street (US.167) from Cajun Dome Boulevard to Ambassador Caffery Parkway. Crews will be performing a bump cutting operation, which helps to smooth uneven road surfaces.

This operation is estimated to take place in the north and southbound lanes from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., weather permitting.

The road will be open to regular traffic with no restrictions to roadway or oversized loads passing through the work zone.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the work zones, and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
