Closure Date: Beginning August 26th until November 30th
Parish: Lafourche Parish
Description:
There will be full bridge closures on the West Larose Vertical Lift Span Bridge in Lafourche Parish, beginning Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 7:00am. The closures will completely shut down the structure to vehicular traffic for a period of three (3) months. The closing is required to allow the Contractor to raise the bridge, remove the old painting system and repaint the structure towers and main span. The bridge will be made operational should a tropical storm move into the Gulf with any path near the Louisiana coast.
Detour Route:
Traffic will be detoured to La 308 using the State owned bridges across Bayou Lafourche
