I-49/I-20 bridge inspections to reduce travel lanes in Caddo Parish

The following lane and ramp closures will take place in Caddo Parish between Aug. 11-13.

Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the I-49 Northbound off ramp bridge to I-20 Eastbound in Caddo Parish, will be restricted to one lane for routine bridge inspection. This bridge is located 3.6 miles north of La. 511 (East 70th Street). This lane closure will allow vehicles 12-feet wide and smaller to pass through the inspection zone. All other vehicles must detour using the alternate routes of La. 511 to La. 1 to La. 3032 to U.S. 71 to I-20.

Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the I-49 Northbound off ramp bridge to I-20 Westbound in Caddo Parish, will be closed to traffic for routine bridge inspection. This bridge is located 3.6 miles north of La. 511 (East 70th Street). This is a total bridge closure. ALl traffic must detour using La. 3132 to I-20.

Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the I-49 Southbound on ramp bridge from I-20 Westbound in Caddo Parish, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for routine bridge inspection. This bridge is located approximately 1.0 mile from La. 1. This lane closure will allow vehicles 14-feet wide and smaller to pass through the inspection zone. All other vehicles must detour using I-20 to La. 3132 to I-49.
