The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that LA 156, Winn Parish, is now OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on August 11, 2015 at 8:00 am, LA 156 will be closed approximately 2.8 miles west of the US 167 intersection. The intent of this closure is to remove a 30 in metal pipe and replace with a 30 inch concrete pipe. This closure is expected to last 2 days.

Permit/Detour section
The roadway will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the pipe replacement. The detour route is as stated:

Eastbound traffic on La 156 will detour North on La 501, then East on La 1232, to La 156.

Westbound traffic on La 156 will detour West on La 1232, then South on La 501, to La 156.
