Rapides Parish - U.S. 167 - road closure

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Tuesday, August 4, until Thursday, August 6, the on-ramp from La. 28 E onto U.S. 167 South (Pineville Expressway) in Pineville will be closed at 7:00 PM each night, weather permitting. The ramp will be reopened by 6:00 AM the following morning of each day. This temporary closure is needed to pour concrete that is associated with the ongoing on-ramp improvement work at this location.
There are no designated detours at this time associated with this project.
DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
