Road Closure, LA 935 (Bayou Narcisse Rd.), Ascension Parish

LA 935 (Bayou Narcisse Rd.) in Ascension Parish will be closed to all thru traffic near the Black Bayou Bridge, one mile west of LA 431. The closure will begin ½ mile west of LA 431 to ¼ mile west of the Black Bayou Bridge. The closure will begin on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 7:00 A.M. LA 935 will reopen on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 5:30 A.M.
A signed detour will be as follows: Motorists wanting to travel through LA 935 west bound will be detoured north on LA 431 to LA 621, west to LA 44, south back to LA 935. Motorists wanting to travel through LA 935 east bound will be detoured north on LA 44 to LA 621, east to LA 431, south back to LA 935.
This closure is for necessary for crews to raise this section of LA 935 to prevent future roadway flooding.
This is subject to change, weather permitting.
No motorist will be allowed to pass through this closure. Permit loads will have to contact LADOTD Permit office for an alternate route.
