The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that starting on the week of Monday, July 13, 2015, portions of LA 493, in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, will be closed to thru traffic and will have detour routes. The duration of the detour Routes for the first phase of construction will last approximately two months.
The scope of work includes grading, cold planning asphaltic concrete, class II base course, in-place stabilized base course, lime treatment, and related work. The project was awarded to the low bidder, Diamond B Construction Co., L.L.C. (Alexandria, LA), in the amount of $1,735,253.60.
Permit/Detour section
Throughout the construction period, LA 493 will be closed to thru traffic. Northbound traffic on LA 493 will either be detoured From LA 1 to LA 494 to LA 484, or from LA 1 to LA 119. Southbound traffic on LA 493 will detoured to LA 484 to LA 494 to LA 1. Please follow detour signs.
