Highway 22, St. Tammany Parish, Lane Closure
June 24, 2015
There will be a closure of the eastbound lane of LA 22 near Penn’s Chapel Road
(mile post 68) on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, (weather permitting) between 11:00 p.m.
and 6:00 a.m. while crews mobilize a crane.
Permit/Detour Section
To avoid the lane closure, eastbound motorists may take LA 22 to LA 1077, north on LA 1077 to LA 21, LA 21 north to I-12, east on I-12 to US 190, east on US 190 to LA 22.
Westbound motorists may take LA 22 to US 190, west on US 190 to I-12, west on I-12
to LA 21, south on LA 21 to LA 1077, south on LA 1077 to LA 22.
One lane will be open to traffic at all times. By law, oversize loads are not allowed to travel at night.
