UPDATE: ACADIA / VERMILION PARISH - DOTD ANNOUNCES CLOSURE OF BAYOU QUEUE DE TORTUE BRIDGE (NOW OPEN)

UPDATE: BRIDGE NOW OPEN - Due to findings during a recent bridge inspection, DOTD announces the closure of the Bayou Queue De Tortue Bridge located on La. 705 near the Acadia/Vermilion Parish line.
A project to replace the bridge is estimated to let for construction in late summer 2015.
The detour for this route includes, La. 35, La. 92, La. 13 and La. 3007 (Ebenezer Road).
