The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Friday June 26, 2015 and starting at 7:00 AM, weather permitting, the Southbound I-49 on ramp located on LA 498 (Airbase Road) will be closed. This closure is due to full depth patching of jointed concrete pavement along the ramp. The ramp is scheduled to be re-opened on Thursday July 2, 2015 at 12:00 noon.
Permit/Detour section
Traffic will be detoured from LA 498 (Airbase Road) onto Southbound LA 1 (Bolton Avenue). Traffic will then exit right onto Northbound US 71/ US 165 on ramp. Traffic will then exit onto I-49 South (Exit 71A).
