LA 73 (Jefferson Hwy) - East Baton Rouge Parish

LA 73 (Jefferson Hwy) will be reduced to one lane in the westbound direction on Saturday June 20 between Thibodeaux Ave. and Audubon Ave. from 7 am to 3pm. This closure is necessary for sanitary sewer repair work. One lane will remain open in the westbound direction at all times. The eastbound travel lanes will not be affected by this closure.
There are no vehicle restrictions and a detour is not necessary.
DOTD and DPW appreciate your patience and remind you to please drive with caution through the work zone and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
